Strand Two focuses on giving individuals the opportunity to gain a Degree qualification in Psychological Trauma Studies.

This four year part-time programme seeks to deepen and widen the appreciation of the effects of psychological trauma but also puts it more firmly in the context of surviving violent political conflict and of dealing with the past.

BSc (Hons) Psychological Trauma Studies

The degree programme aims to enable students to develop their knowledge and provide a context for the understanding of psychological trauma.  It is designed to meet the needs of those from community groups and organisations and also health care professionals involved in the care and support of traumatised individuals and communities.

Selected Courses include; Theoretical Perspectives on Trauma and Loss, Vicarious Trauma and Resiliency, Treatment Modalities, Intergenerational Trauma, Trauma and Addiction
