Natasha Galbraith
Interim Project Manager
I started with WAVE Trauma Centre, Omagh in 2011 as an Outreach Caseworker. In 2017 I moved to the role of Health and Wellbeing Caseworker, then in 2021 I successfully applied and took on the role of Interim Project Manager. At University I received a 2:1 in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology and this planted the seed which has grown and matured in my career with WAVE. During my time at WAVE I have gained invaluable knowledge and experience from our clients as well as the ongoing Trauma Education courses.
The following support services are available from the WAVE centre in Omagh and the surrounding areas each week:
WAVE Omagh
The staff team at WAVE Omagh are experienced, compassionate and qualified to meet the many needs of those who seek our support and services.
WAVE Omagh also provides creative/educational courses, social activities and peer group support meetings, tailored to support the needs of clients attending. This enhances personal development and helps reduce social isolation and exclusion, while enabling interaction across and within communities. Above are advertised through bi-annual centre updates.
We also run a weekly ‘Knit and Knatter’, Horticulture and walking groups where clients come together to learn or develop their skills. Come along each Monday morning at 11 am for walking, Wednesday Morning at 10:30 for Horticulture and Thursday morning at 11am for Knit and Knatter. Enjoy a cup of tea, chat and the company of others while learning something new and different. All welcome, no experience needed.
