HIA Redress Applications deadline is 2nd April 2025
- WAVE Trauma (HIA) are delivering a range of support services to survivors of Historical Institutional Abuse who suffered abuse or neglect as a child whilst resident in a children’s home or an Institution in Northern Ireland at any time between 1922 and 1995 (inclusive).
- Victims and Survivors of HIA can apply for HIA Redress (financial compensation)
and can go directly to their own solicitor or contact WAVE who will support victims and survivors with their application and advise where to source a solicitor.
HIA Redress and support services from WAVE and your nominated solicitor are free to victims and survivors of Historical Institutional Abuse
