Friday 29 May 2020 was the day when injured people throughout Northern Ireland should have been able apply for a special pension. That pension was hard fought for by the WAVE Injured Group.
Today WAVE remembers colleagues who passed away before the pension was passed into law.
Hugh Rowan, Mabel Hempton, Eugene Morrissey and Eamonn Stewart will never be forgotten by those who campaigned alongside them.
May they rest in peace.
