Anne Service

Anne Service’s 35 year old son, Brian, had returned from working in England to live near his family in the Ardoyne area of North Belfast.

He was walking home from his brother’s house in the early hours of 31 October 1998, when he was shot by the Red Hand Defenders.  This loyalist militia carried out a series of killings in support of Orange Order’s parades protest at Drumcree.
