Ciara Enright was 5-years-old when her father Terry Enright was murdered on January 11, 1998. The well-known amateur sportsman, outdoor pursuits instructor, and cross-community youth worker from west Belfast was shot dead by LVF gunmen as he worked as a doorman at Belfast’s Space nightclub. The LVF said his murder was in retaliation for the INLA killing of Billy Wright. A variety of community and sport events have taken place in Terry Enright’s memory, and Gort na Móna GAC pitch is named after him.
